A mascot in construction mode

The request
We've been working for BigMat for many years, but now more than ever, we had to meet our communication objectives: increase brand awareness and in-store traffic, as well as animate the points of sale.

The solution
So we created a mascot... From the soles of his shoes to the top of his cap, we went through multiple phases to build BigMan.
It now features prominently in our various communication media to meet our objectives. It embodies the BigMat brand, becoming its emblem, its spokesperson, its ambassador.

Creation of a new mascot, the superhero BigMan!
When we designed this mascot, echoing the brand's name (big), we opted for the creation of a superhero, a real fictional character, able to represent the values defended by the BigMat brand and create a sympathetic capital.
This dual personality makes it possible to play on different levels, to easily take on different roles and thus broaden the discourse, tackle different themes and win over the target audience.

BigMan brings the catalog to life
Updated every two years, the BigMat "Product & Advice Guide" is the ideal medium for updating our mascot and bringing life and sympathy to the sometimes highly technical material presented in the many pages of the catalog.
BigMan is featured throughout the catalog, giving "pro" advice and highlighting new products and trends.

BigMan's strength across all media
To mark his arrival as a BigMat ambassador, our BigMan was quickly visible wherever he could serve, showcasing his superpowers and bringing his likeability factor to the brand he embodies.
It can be found at the point of sale, on point-of-sale displays, but also outside the store: it is of course the main actor in TV commercials, and is used as a sticker, on t-shirts, in folders, etc.

A birthday well celebrated
2021 marks BigMat's 40th anniversary.
More than ever, BigMan was the perfect ambassador. He represented the brand in 2 competitions. The first was between the various sales outlets: the aim was to create the most beautiful cake in big bags
and create the best animation. The second, in the form of a scratch card, was aimed at the general public. -
